THE VORTEX TWINS

The Vortex Twins are the writing/directorial team of Daniel Eric Finkel and Brian McGuire. While they have many projects they work on independently, it has been scientifically proven that when they meld minds they create “a creative typhoon that can blow a wig right off someone’s decapitated head” according to someone that I can’t remember. They plan to start working on their horror/ dark comedy feature film, “Son of a Beast” once the coast is clear. Check out some of their work from the past.

If you read Finkel’s Bio, then you know that he has turned some of his scripts/tv pilots into rap songs. Here’s an example of the lyrics that he wrote and performed with his former alterative rap group Mexican Pharmacy for the TV Pilot “The Ghost Frequency.”

PODCAST

Dinodimension is a satical R rated comedy/sci-fi “oddcast” that blends passages from Finkel’s feature film screenplay “The 10th Planet” with the hip hop production and mind melting soundscapes of Tyler Jenich. It turns out it took a hell of a lot of work to produce these “oddcasts” and only two episodes were ever created. However, they still dream about someone giving them “money” to continue and transform Dinodimension into an animated TV show.
